Sian Berkley has extensive experience in sustainability management, currently serving as the first Sustainability Manager at LDA Design since October 2022, where responsibilities include environmental management and developing the organization's inaugural Climate Action Plan. Prior roles include Group Sustainability and Environmental Manager at Ocee International Ltd, overseeing sustainability strategies across multiple companies, and previously serving as Group Sustainability Coordinator, where a sustainability strategy based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals was implemented. Sian's early career included a sustainability internship at Ocee Design, work as an Industry Operations Agent at OVO Energy, and various roles in hospitality and administration. Sian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography with International Study from The University of Manchester and additional education experience at The University of Hong Kong.

The origin of the word landscape is to create a place where people belong. So at LDA Design, we follow the principles of ‘first life, then spaces, then buildings’. As masterplanners of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, we understand what good looks like. We have recently worked on Westminster’s largest regeneration project, Church Street. Our masterplan for Swansea Bay Tidal Lagoon combines visionary placemaking with the latest in renewable energy. We are designing the new public realm at Battersea Power Station and helping to create the first of the Eden Project’s visitor centres in China. Our 170-strong team of urban designers, landscape architects, and town and environmental planners work with developers, landowners, communities, universities and local authorities seeking our help with transformation. We are experienced in securing planning for new settlements and work across a range of infrastructure and energy projects. At LDA Design, we make great places and shape the world for the better.
