Elda Acevedo

Elda Acevedo, M.A., serves as the Marketing Director and franchise co-owner at Painter1 of Greater North Austin and Painter1 of Austin since March 2020, overseeing growth and establishing effective processes. Elda has extensive experience in education, currently fulfilling roles as the World Languages Department Chair and Spanish Team Leader within Leander ISD, contributing to curriculum development and mentoring while presenting at various conferences. Elda has taught Spanish at Vandegrift High School and utilized the Gomez & Gomez Dual Language model at Knowles Elementary. Previous positions include freelance bilingual communications work, web communications direction at Altamente, and various roles in public relations and admissions at Sacred Heart University and DePauw University. Elda holds a Master's degree in Public Relations from Universidad del Sagrado Corazón and multiple degrees in International and Intercultural Communication from DePauw University.
