Henry Fernandez

Henry Fernandez is an experienced leader with a diverse background in public policy, strategic advising, and organizational management. As a Board Member at Connex Credit Union and CEO of both the African American Research Collaborative and Fernandez Advisors, Henry has demonstrated a commitment to social justice and progressive advocacy. Henry’s previous role as Executive Director of Leadership, Education and Athletics in Partnership complements a strong history at the Center for American Progress, where a focus on civil rights and economic opportunities was paramount. Notable past contributions include service on the Obama-Biden Transition Team and as Economic Development Administrator for the City of New Haven. Educational credentials include a JD from Yale Law School and a BA in Government from Harvard University.
