Thomas Coran

Thomas Coran is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information security, risk management, and IT auditing. Currently serving as the Director of Information Security Risk and Compliance at Lear Corporation since August 2017, Thomas previously held the position of Director of Global IT Internal Audit Services. Prior to this role, Thomas worked as a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young from July 2004 to July 2017, specializing in IT Risk and Assurance within the Advisory Services sector. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Systems Administrator at Affordable Computers/Residual Partners, where expertise in Unix/Linux/Windows systems administration and PHP/MySQL web development was utilized. Thomas is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Wayne State University, with an anticipated graduation in December 2026, after earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting Information Systems from Eastern Michigan University.
