Robert Chevallier has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in data engineering, data technology management, data science, and data governance. Robert is currently the Data Engineering Director at Lectra since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Sigfox for seven years, starting as a Data Solutions Manager from 2015 to 2018 and then transitioning to the role of Data Technology Manager from 2019 to 2022. At Sigfox, they were responsible for value creation with data, data services, data science, and analytics for both customers and internal collaborators. Before joining Sigfox, they worked as a Data Scientist at Bouygues Telecom from 2014 to 2015. Robert also has extensive experience in data quality, data governance, and urbanism in information systems, having served as the Data Quality and Data Governance Manager at Bouygues Telecom from 2008 to 2013, and as the Responsable Urbanisme SI from 1998 to 2008. Additionally, they worked in localization management roles at Borland from 1992 to 1995 and at Microsoft from 1988 to 1991.
Robert Chevallier attended ENSEEIHT from 1983 to 1988, where they earned an engineer degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. Robert also obtained additional certifications in various data science and programming courses from Coursera in 2014.
