Kevin Vecmanis

Kevin Vecmanis has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kevin is currently working as a Principal Data Engineer at Ledn since November 2023. Before that, they worked as a Staff Data Engineer at the same company. Prior to their role at Ledn, Kevin worked at Clearco as a Data Platform Engineering Manager from March 2020 to March 2022, and as a Data Engineer from July 2019 to March 2020. Kevin also has experience as a Founder at VanAurum from April 2017 to July 2019. Kevin's earlier career includes roles as an Electrical Services Manager and Electrical Engineer at Pentair from 2012 to 2017, a Project Engineer at General Dynamics Land Systems in 2012, and a Technical Services role at 3M's Energy Markets Division from 2008 to 2011. Kevin started their career with an Engineering Internship at 3M from May 2006 to August 2007.

Kevin Vecmanis graduated from Western University in 2008 with a BESc degree in Electrical Engineering. Kevin also holds additional certifications including "Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals" from Coursera, obtained in 2019, and "Professional Engineer" from Professional Engineers Ontario, obtained in 2011. In addition, they are a Level 2 Candidate in the CFA Program with the CFA Institute.
