Sheri Leo currently serves as Vice President of Talent, Learning, & Culture at Leadership for Educational Equity since October 2018. Prior to this role, Sheri Leo was Chief Talent Officer at UP Education Network from February 2014 to September 2018, leading human capital strategy for a network of turnaround schools. Sheri Leo's earlier experience includes serving as Senior Consultant at American Institutes for Research, where project direction was provided for educational evaluation systems, and Director of Teacher Effectiveness at Chicago Public Schools, overseeing initiatives related to teacher effectiveness. Sheri Leo's career also includes roles as Project Manager, Planner, Analyst, and Elementary School Teacher in various educational settings. Academic credentials include a BA in Public Policy from Brown University, an MPP in Education Policy from the University of Chicago, and a MAT in Elementary Education from American University.
