David Mitchell has over 25 years of experience in human resources and talent management. David is currently a board member at Legacy Early College, a nonprofit organization that provides education and career opportunities to underserved youth in North Carolina. Prior to their current position, Mitchell was with Talent Management Solutions, a firm that provides human resources consulting services to small and medium-sized businesses. Before that, they were with Pfizer for four years as a human resources manager. Mitchell began their career in 1995 as a human resources supervisor with RR Donnelley.

David has a Master's Degree in Human Resources Development from Clemson University. David has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Limestone University. Legacy Early College addresses the needs of each scholar with an education model of academic excellence, physical fitness, and superior nutrition. Legacy is the only public school in SC to provide daily PE for every child. Legacy's mission is to offer a quality, rigorous, and relevant educational program leading to college graduation and empowering underserved urban students to become productive, fit, principled citizens in a changing society.
