Clara Altemus

Clara Altemus, MS, OTRL, BCP, PMH-C, is an experienced occupational therapist specializing in pediatric rehabilitation and neonatal intensive care. Currently serving as an Occupational Therapist in the NICU at Salem Health and a Pediatric Occupational Therapist at Randall Children’s Hospital under Legacy Health, Clara has a clinical emphasis on acute neurological injury and multi-system trauma. Additionally, Clara holds adjunct professor positions at both Baylor University and Western University of Health Sciences, imparting knowledge in occupational therapy and pediatric coursework. Previous experience includes a role as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist at Intermountain Healthcare with a focus on critical care and early mobility, and an initial role as a Rehabilitation Aide at UPMC. Clara earned a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Duquesne University in 2018.
