Martin Gabbe

Martin Gabbe is a Senior Audit Manager in Group Internal Audit at Legal & General since January 2015, providing assurance and valuable insights to the Group Audit Committee. Previously, Martin served as Associate Financial Controller in the Retirements division, overseeing the production of Management Information packs and offering accounting guidance on various projects and changes. Prior experience includes a Senior Manager role at KPMG UK (2004-2014), managing a diverse portfolio of external audit clients and delivering technical updates to senior finance professionals. Additional roles include Audit Manager at Ashdown Hurrey and Group Audit Manager at Baker Tilly, starting as an Audit Senior. Martin holds a BSc Hons in Biology from the University of Bristol (1995-1998).
