Shamshad Azimi

Shamshad Azimi is an experienced manufacturing engineer currently serving as an Associate Manufacturing Engineer at Legend Biotech since February 2024, focusing on CAR-T manufacturing. Prior to this, Shamshad worked as a Bioengineer at Celularity Inc., contributing to a 510k medical device application utilizing human biomaterials, and also served as a Process Development Associate, where prototypes for medical devices were produced from human biomaterials. Previous roles include Biologics Technician III at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, assisting in the manufacturing of RhoGAM, and a Process Engineering Intern at Intercos, supporting scale-up trials for cosmetic manufacturing. Additionally, Shamshad held an internship in Global Regulatory Affairs at International Flavors & Fragrances, developing training modules on plant safety regulations, and worked as a Computer Repair Technician at Catcom Computers Inc. Shamshad holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and a high school diploma from Passaic County Technical-Vocational Schools, specializing in Medical Arts.
