Jason Eckert serves as the Chief Financial Officer at the World Surf League since April 2022, bringing extensive financial leadership experience from previous roles at the National Basketball Association, where responsibilities included Vice President, Head of Finance & Strategy for the EMEA region, and various senior finance roles. Prior to that, Jason held the position of Head of Finance for Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities & Energy and New Markets at Reuters. Early career experience includes positions at L.E.C. & Associates, LLC, REZsolutions, Inc., and The Barrington Consulting Group. Jason Eckert holds an MBA and MIM in International Business from Bond University and a BS in Finance from Arizona State University.
