Dong Yeon Shin has a work experience spanning over two decades. Dong Yeon started their career in 2000 as a Research Assistant at the Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology (KRIBB), where they worked until 2002. Following this, they joined Weill Cornell Medicine as a Postdoctoral Associate in 2013 and stayed until 2018. In 2018, they joined LegoChem Biosciences as a Sr. Research Scientist/Project Leader, and later took on the role of Project Manager in 2020.
Dong Yeon Shin completed their education in biochemistry with a Bachelor's degree from Chungnam National University, studying from 1998 to 2002. Dong Yeon then pursued further studies and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biochemistry from the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, completing their doctoral program from 2004 to 2012.
