Sean Shappell

Sean Shappell serves as the Assistant Vice President for Information Services at Lehigh University since October 2011, where responsibilities include maximizing operational effectiveness in the Office of Development and Alumni Relations through data, technology, and policy management. Previously held positions at Lehigh University include Senior Director and Director of Information Systems within the same office, focusing on the utilization of technology and data to enhance development and alumni relations. Before joining Lehigh University, Sean worked as a Manager at Grant Thornton, LLP, and LECG, where the focus was on the integration of technology into business processes. Early career experiences include roles as a Teaching Assistant and Student Web Developer at Dickinson College, and as a Student Technology Support Specialist at Bucknell University. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Dickinson College, obtained in 2005.
