Marco Mori has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Marco started their career as a Stageur at Birra Peroni, where they monitored production plants, conducted energy audits, and evaluated investment scenarios for energy saving opportunities. Marco then worked at DeStudio Design Engineering as a CAD Design Engineer before joining BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas as a Consultant, where they monitored power plants, developed databases for energy control, and supported cost management. Marco also worked at Acea as an Energy Engineer, specializing in Ecogena, and is currently working at Leitat Technological Center as a Senior Researcher and Energy Efficiency Expert.
Marco Mori earned a bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering from the University of Rome Tor Vergata in 2012. Marco then pursued a master's degree in Energy Engineering at the same university from 2012 to 2015. In 2013, they also completed a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico. Additionally, Marco has obtained several certifications including PMVA™ from Efficiency Valuation Organization (EVO) in 2023, Esperto in Gestione dell'Energia (UNI CEI 11339) from Bureau Veritas Italia in 2018, a Licensed Engineer certification from Albo professionale degli Ingegneri in 2017, and various other certifications in project management and quality management.
