Mercè de la Fuente Jordà is an experienced professional in the field of operations and applied research, currently serving as the Directora de Operaciones at Leitat Technological Center since March 2006, with a focus on innovation across various sectors including chemistry, materials, and biomedical technologies. Mercè has held multiple leadership positions, overseeing the Applied Chemistry & Materials Business Unit and managing the Advanced Materials Group, which specializes in polymer science and material development. Prior to Leitat, Mercè worked as a Product Engineer at Flamagas and in R&D and quality control at Galloplast S.L. Mercè holds an Executive Master in Business Administration with a concentration in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from EUNCET and a degree in Technical Industrial Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
