LELO
Robin Cao has a diverse work experience in the field of product design. They started their career as a Product Designer intern at LOE DESIGN, where they gained experience in the design process and concept design. They later became a Senior Product Designer at the same company, specializing in brands like POVOS and JOYOUNG. Robin was responsible for communicating with customers, ensuring design quality, and managing lead times.
After LOE DESIGN, Robin worked at Prestige Foods (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. as a Design Team Leader and Marketing Planning Supervisor. They played a crucial role in orienting the product line and brand strategy, as well as collaborating with chefs to finalize the shape, color, and flavor of the products.
Currently, Robin is serving as the Chief Designer at LELOi AB, responsible for managing the daily operations of the LELO China R&D department. They lead a design team to create excellent and creative products that are suitable for the brand. They also handle project management, including new product development and BOM cost.
Robin Cao attended the Shanghai Institute of Technology University from 2004 to 2008. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Industrial Design and a minor in Decorative Art, specializing in Fiber, Ceramic, and Metal Art.
