Brian Leonard

Brian Leonard is an accomplished design leader with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as VP of Design and Executive Director of Think and Strategic Design at Lenovo since January 2016. Previously, Brian held various design director roles at Dell from November 2006 to December 2015, focusing on product design strategy for offerings such as Latitude, Precision, Rugged Products, Alienware, and XPS Mobile Products. Earlier experience includes positions at Lenovo Group Ltd as Lead Industrial Designer and at IBM Corp as an Industrial Designer. Brian also contributed to academia as a Visiting Associate Professor at North Carolina State University from 2001 to 2003. Educational credentials include an MPD in Industrial Design (1991) and a BA in Industrial Design (1989) from North Carolina State University.
