Stephanie Schroeder has a diverse background in freelance writing, peer advocacy, public relations, and communications. Stephanie has experience in providing counseling and advocacy for older adults, assisting shelter residents with navigating bureaucracies, and developing community living skills. Stephanie has also founded their own editorial and publicity boutique and worked in media relations for healthcare and technology clients. Stephanie holds a JD from New York Law School and certifications in peer specialist and behavioral health-criminal justice.

Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, widely recognized as one of New York’s premier nonprofit organizations, is a 129-year-old settlement house that provides an extensive array of effective and integrated human services—social, educational, legal, health, housing, mental health, nutritional and fitness—which significantly improve the lives of thousands of people in need each year, ages 3 to 103, on the East Side of Manhattan.
