Heidi B. Esbensen

Heidi B. Esbensen is a Senior Downstream Specialist at LEO Pharma, with an extensive background in sterile production and quality management. Since March 2014, Heidi has contributed to the Fucidin® API downstream group within the MSAT Department, focusing on process optimization and data collection for the PAT project. Previous roles included Senior Professional, where Heidi utilized expertise in sterile manufacturing principles for decision making and risk assessment, and Chemist, managing compliance with cGMP and training others on document control systems. Prior experience includes roles as Quality Management Representative and Training Coordinator at Applied Photophysics Ltd, as well as Product Support Scientist, Consumer Affairs Representative at Reckitt Benckiser, and Administrative Assistant at Neurodan A/S. Heidi holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Kingston University and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Biotechnology from Aalborg University.
