Martha Silks is a seasoned hydrogeologist with extensive experience in water resource consulting. Currently, Martha serves as the Lead Hydrogeologist at Leonard Rice Engineers Inc. since 2018, focusing on business development, project management, and execution of projects in the Central Midwest. Previously, Martha held the role of Lead Hydrogeologist at WSP USA from 2011 to 2018, and served as a Senior Hydrogeologist at Layne Christensen in 2010-2011. As the Owner of Quad State Services, Inc. from 2004 to 2010, Martha was responsible for marketing and project management related to water supply consulting. Martha's career began at Layne GeoSciences, where a tenure from 1987 to 2003 as a Hydrogeologist was marked by significant contributions to the field. Martha holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from The University of Kansas, completed in 1979.
