Donal Burns

Donal Burns is a Senior Data Engineer at LetsGetChecked, with experience in developing data pipelines, deploying processes, and working with stakeholders to fulfill product data needs. Prior to this role, Donal worked as a Student Researcher at Imperial College London and University College Dublin, focusing on ontogenetic growth models in fish and deep-sea vent fauna larvae dispersal. Donal also has experience as an Assistant Language Teacher in Japan and as a Field Ecologist at the Office of Public Works. Donal holds a Master of Science in Computational Methods in Ecology and Evolution from Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from University College Dublin.
