Eric Chartier is an experienced product design engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering. Currently serving as Product Design Engineer III at Leupold & Stevens since April 2004, Eric focuses on new product introductions, managing projects from prototype to production. Previously at Columbia Industries from January 1998 to May 2004, Eric contributed as a mechanical engineer, developing parametric solid model parts and establishing new company standards for design processes. Earlier in the career, Eric worked as an NC programmer at Shinei USA Inc., where responsibilities included creating NC programs for advanced machinery and resolving programming issues. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon Institute of Technology and an Associate of Applied Science in Industrial Design/Drafting from Portland Community College.
