- Senior Data Warehouse Developer at Alinta Energy from April 2018 to April 2019. Responsibilities included the delivery of Data Vault 2.0 warehouse on the Azure PAAS platform, using Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Warehouse for modeling and development.

- Consultant at Kypera Group from February 2013 to June 2013. Tasked with developing requirements for an Australian specific version of an in-house management system and delivering the product to the company's first Australian client. Assisted in setting up a permanent presence for the company in Australia.
- Business Integration Analyst / Developer at Mears Group PLC from October 2010 to March 2013. Responsibilities included designing and developing bespoke database integration solutions for asset management systems, developing database ETL solutions for internal project requirements, and consuming third-party and client web services within SSIS.
Chris Hurley attended the University of Plymouth from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Computing Informatics. In addition to their degree, they also hold certifications in ITIL Foundation Level from AXELOS Global Best Practice, obtained in April 2018, and Certified Data Vault 2.0 Practitioner from Dan Linstedt, obtained in February 2018.
