Vanessa Holmgren

Vanessa Holmgren serves as the Director of Internal Communications and Community Engagement at Lewis & Clark College since December 2003, where responsibilities include evaluating, developing, implementing, and managing multimedia communication strategies to foster community engagement and inclusivity. Vanessa has played a critical role in attracting students and promoting the institution through various digital communication tools and media relations. Previous positions include Director of Multimedia and Internal Communications and PR Officer, where Vanessa managed media releases, produced newsletters, and developed communication strategies. Prior experience also includes roles at the Oregon University System as a Marketing/Publicity Coordinator and Study Abroad Advisor, focusing on international program promotion. Vanessa holds a MA in English from Oregon State University and a BA in English/Mass Communications from Minnesota State Moorhead.
