With a distinguished career in environmental law, Barker held the positions of Chief Environmental and Regulatory Counsel and Assistant General Counsel at Appleton Papers Inc. from 2007 to 2015, overseeing environmental litigation and product safety across multiple manufacturing facilities. Earlier experience includes serving as a Shareholder and Co-Team Leader of the Environmental and Energy Practice Group at Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. from 1981 to 2007, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, real estate, and environmental issues. Barker earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's degree in Education and Sociology from Beloit College.
