David Townsend

David Townsend, CFA, serves as an Assistant Professor of Finance and Adjunct Faculty in the Graduate School of Management at Lewis University since September 2008, responsible for all lecture materials and mentoring students academically and professionally. In the professional arena, David currently holds the position of Head of Product Marketing and Thought Leadership at Halo Investing, with previous roles including Marketing and Communications Manager at DWS Group, Strategic Marketing Director at Gray Matter Analytics, and Financial Services Consultant at Small Batch Labs. David's earlier experience includes key positions at William Blair & Company and Bank of America, focusing on client service, strategic initiatives, and financial analysis. David earned a Doctor of Business Administration in Finance from DePaul University and holds advanced degrees from the Illinois Institute of Technology and The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
