Chris Canfield is an accomplished professional in the fields of user experience and game design, currently serving as the Senior Manager of UX at Lexia Learning since September 2015. With a diverse background that includes positions as a Senior Game Designer and UX Designer at DoorMouse.com from 2019 to 2023, and experience hosting the Design of Play podcast, Chris explores the relationship between play and modern adulthood. Chris also held academic roles as an adjunct professor at Northeastern University and Bristol Community College, and contributed to the gaming industry at Harmonix Music Systems, where a user testing group was founded. Educational qualifications include an ongoing MBA at Isenberg School of Management, a Master’s in Digital Media from Northeastern University, and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of California, Irvine.
