Masaki Hemmi

Masaki (Mac) Hemmi currently serves as the Head Coach at Lexington Sporting Club since July 2025. Previously, Mac held roles as Interim Head Coach and 1st Assistant Coach at Chicago Stars FC from January 2024 to July 2025. Mac was also the Director of Player Personnel and 1st Assistant Coach at New Mexico United from January 2022 to January 2024, stepping in as Interim Head Coach in June 2023. Prior coaching experience includes serving as Associate Head Coach at the University of Denver Men’s Soccer from August 2016 to January 2022 and with INAC Kobe Leonessa in Japan's WE League. Mac's coaching career began at Real Colorado Soccer Club, where various developmental academy roles were held. Before entering the soccer field full-time, Mac worked in engineering roles at Comcast and Halker Consulting LLC. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Psychology of Coaching from the University of Denver and a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School of Mines.
