Phil Carter

Phil Carter is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in software research and development, product management, and operations within Lexmark since 2003. Currently serving as Senior Director and Head of Software R&D and User Experience, Phil oversees a global team of 300 across three R&D centers, focusing on cloud services, software applications, and IoT solutions. Previous roles include senior leadership positions in product management, where strategic direction and new offer development for Managed Print Services and IoT were prioritized, as well as directing R&D initiatives and global services operations. Phil holds educational credentials from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and completed a Manager of Managers Continuing Education program at the University of Michigan in 2013.
