Hong Zhang

Hong Zhang is an experienced professional in process safety and engineering, currently serving as the Process Safety Team Leader at LG Chem since April 2021. Prior to this role, Hong Zhang spent nearly 20 years at BP, where significant contributions included leadership positions in HAZOP and LOPA, developing technical training packages, and overseeing operational safety as a Shift Supervisor. Earlier career roles at CNPC encompassed process engineering and team leadership, where responsibilities involved process performance analysis and emergency management. Hong Zhang holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
