Doug began their career as a Software Engineer at Sanmina-SCI from 2005 to 2007, programming and maintaining medical devices, and as a Control Systems Engineer at McEnery Automation from January 2001 to August 2004, automating manufacturing processes. Doug also interned at Washington University School of Medicine in 1997, assisting with web application development and database scripting.
Doug Gray obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology, where they attended from 1997 to 2002. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, where they studied between 2004 and 2010. In addition to their degrees, Doug also holds several certifications, including the NABCEP PV Associate certification from NABCEP: North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners, which they obtained in May 2018. Doug also obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in June 2015 and the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification from the same institution in July 2020.
