Prashanthi Srinivasan has a strong background in engineering and project management. Prashanthi has experience working in various roles in the renewable energy and power industries.
In 2011, Prashanthi started their career at BS Limited as a PGET (Post Graduate Engineering Trainee) in the Power Projects division. Prashanthi then progressed to the role of Sr. Engineer, where they were involved in procurement activities and project management. Prashanthi successfully prepared estimates, finalized vendors, and managed the procurement process in compliance with project requirements and regulations. Prashanthi also played a key role in planning and preparing schedules for the projects. Additionally, they collected and published progress reports, maintained engineering and client billing databases, and ensured smooth coordination amongst project sites.
After their time at BS Limited, Prashanthi joined SunEdison as a Design Engineer in 2015. Prashanthi designed a 120 MW solar plant in Karnataka, India, gaining valuable experience in the renewable energy industry and expanding their technical skill set.
In 2016, Prashanthi took a career break to focus on family and maternity responsibilities.
Prashanthi resumed their career in 2019, joining HENECO as a Solar Project Engineer. In this role, they successfully created technical specifications and standardized documentations for clients in compliance with IEEE and UL codes.
Later in 2019, Prashanthi joined Powell as an Application Engineer Electrical. Prashanthi delivered cost-effective proposals for complex applications, strategized solutions for winning bids across projects of different sizes, and received recognition for outstanding customer service.
Currently, Prashanthi holds the position of Sr Technical Sales Engineer (BESS) at LG Energy Solution Vertech, Inc. starting from 2023.
Throughout their work experience, Prashanthi has demonstrated strong technical and project management skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions for customers and achieving business goals.
Prashanthi Srinivasan completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Rajalakshmi Engineering College from 2004 to 2008. Prashanthi then pursued a Master's degree in Power Electronics & Drives from Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering from 2008 to 2010. Prashanthi also obtained additional certifications such as Crucial Accountability and Crucial Conversation from VitalSmarts in August 2021 and February 2020 respectively. Furthermore, they completed a Graduate Engineer Course from the National Power Training Institute, Nagpur in May 2011 and became a Certified Automation Engineer from Technocrat automation systems in August 2010.
