Ed Leonardo has diverse work experience across various industries. Ed started their career as a High-Performance Athlete, representing Portugal in Judo competitions from 2004 to 2010. After that, they worked as a Managing Consultant and Engineering Team Leader at Panacea Selection Ltd, specializing in Sales and Engineering recruitment solutions. From 2013 to 2021, Ed held multiple roles at Liaison Group, including Business Development Manager, Senior Customer Support Architect, and Account Director & National Lead. In these positions, they focused on generating new business within the NHS, supporting NHS trusts in implementing staffing processes, and providing training and consultancy services. Ed also has experience as a Professional Athlete at the University of Bath, training as a high-performance Judo athlete.
Ed Leonardo obtained their BSc degree in Sociology from the University of Bath, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their degree in Humadidades from Liceu Sa da Bandeira in Portugal, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also obtained certification in IELTS - International English Test System from the British Council in August 2007.
