Ioana Popescu

Ioana Popescu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management and compliance. Currently serving as Manager of Risk and Compliance at Liberty Global since January 2021, Popescu previously held various roles at Genpact, including Europe Compliance Manager and SOX Compliance Assistant Manager, where responsibilities encompassed enterprise risk management, internal controls, and compliance reporting. Earlier experience includes a position at Johnson & Johnson as a PTP Accountant, focusing on treasury accounting. Ioana Popescu holds a Master’s degree in Financial Audit and Consultancy, a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Stock Exchange, and a Graduation Diploma in Bank Management from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, alongside a Baccalaureate diploma.
