Mr. Skiadas is responsible for corporate wide accounting, finance operations, compliance, financial policies, and SEC financial reporting at Verizon Communications Inc. His responsibilities also include the review and analysis of various corporate acquisition and divestiture projects. Skiadas also serves as the principal accounting officer and provides oversight for Finance Transformation, a multiyear strategic initiative focused on transforming Verizon's finance processes, systems, and talent.
Prior to his current assignment, Skiadas was SVP and CFO for Verizon Finance Operations. He led the teams responsible for accounting, bill to cash, accounts payable, commissions, and payroll functions across Verizon.
Skiadas joined Verizon Wireless (and its predecessor, Bell Atlantic Mobile) in 1996. He has held various accounting, financial management, and executive roles of increasing responsibility, including the implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance and participating in the merger integration activities surrounding the formation of Verizon Wireless.
Skiadas is a licensed CPA in the state of New Jersey and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. He holds an MBA in finance from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Delaware.

Liberty Science Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to getting learners of all ages excited about the power, promise, and pure fun of science and technology. Liberty Science Center houses 12 museum exhibition halls, a live animal collection with 110 species, giant aquariums, the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium (the biggest planetarium in the Western Hemisphere), a 3D theater, live simulcast surgeries, tornado and hurricane-force wind simulators, K-12 classrooms and labs, and teacher-development programs. More than half a million students, teachers, and parents visit the Science Center each year, and tens of thousands more participate in the Center's offsite and online programs.
