Nancy Groce is a Senior Folklife Specialist at the Library of Congress since 2007, bringing extensive experience in cultural heritage. From 2000 to 2007, Nancy served as Curator at the Smithsonian Institution's Center for Folklife & Cultural Heritage. Prior experience includes tenure as Senior Program Officer at the New York Council for the Humanities from 1986 to 1994. Nancy Groce holds dual Master's degrees in American Culture and Ethnomusicology, as well as a Ph.D. in American Culture, Ethnomusicology, Folklore, and American History from the University of Michigan.
