Stephen Winick is a seasoned writer and editor with extensive experience in folklore and folklife. Currently serving as a Writer-Editor for the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress since February 2005, Stephen has penned a widely circulated paper newsletter. Previous roles include contributing editor at Dirty Linen Magazine, where Stephen composed articles on folk music and reviewed related media, and columnist at TWM Publishing, Inc., focusing on Tarot creators. As Folk Arts Director at the Walt Whitman Arts Center, Stephen oversaw the Delaware Valley Folklife Center. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts and a Doctor of Philosophy in Folklore and Folklife from the University of Pennsylvania, along with a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from Columbia University.
