Carlos Roldan

Carlos Roldan is a highly experienced mechanical engineer with a diverse background in various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and Team Lead at Liebherr since March 2013, Carlos specializes in resolving field issues related to mining haul trucks and conducts root cause analysis. As the Owner/Operator of Roldan Design / DT Surfsports since November 2012, Carlos focuses on carbon fiber composite designs and sporting goods. Prior roles include Production Manager at FSC Cutting Tools, Director of Engineering at Northern Light Paddlesports, Project Leader at Harsco Rail, and Design Engineer at Westinghouse Electric Co. Carlos also has a solid foundation in research and design from previous positions at the University of South Carolina, The Loxcreen Company, Wellman Inc., and A.O. Smith Water Products. Carlos holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Green Belt Certification in Six Sigma from the University of South Carolina.
