Associate Director Of Technology Development at Life Edit Therapeutics

Adrian Pickar Oliver, Ph.D., currently serves as Associate Director of Technology Development and previously as Senior Scientist of Technology Development at Life Edit Therapeutics since May 2021. Prior to this role, Adrian gained experience at Duke University as a Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow from October 2015 to May 2021. Adrian completed PhD work in Dr. Biao He's lab at the University of Georgia, focusing on the phosphorylation of the mumps virus phosphoprotein in viral pathogenesis to develop vaccine candidates. Earlier experience includes a research internship at the US Department of Defense in the Viral Therapeutics Branch and undergraduate research under Dr. Boland at the University of Richmond, studying the effect of arachidonic acid on potassium ion channels. Adrian holds a PhD in Infectious Diseases from the University of Georgia and a BS in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Richmond.
