Jan Lasik

Jan Lasik serves as an Executive Team Member functioning as General Counsel and Secretary at LifeArc since June 2025. Prior to this role, Jan was an Executive Board Member and General Counsel at the National Trust from November 2018 to June 2025. Experience also includes serving as Deputy Head of Legal for Markets, Banking, and Notes at the Bank of England from May 2013 to November 2018. Jan's legal career began at Allen & Overy from September 2006 to April 2013, where positions included Associate in Securitisation, Derivatives, and Structured Finance, as well as Trainee Solicitor. Academic qualifications comprise an MA in Modern History and Politics from the University of Oxford and a Legal Practice Course alongside a Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School.
