Scott Root

Scott Root is an accomplished executive in the dental and medical device industries with extensive leadership experience. Currently serving as Global General Manager for Dental at LifeNet Health since December 2024, Scott previously held the position of President at Thommen Medical USA, where responsibility included overseeing the North American business. Prior to that, Scott was the GM for APAC and Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand at Nobel Biocare, and the President of DENTSPLY Implants North America, driving significant business growth. Scott's career includes key roles at Astra Tech Inc., where as President and CEO, substantial market transformation occurred, and Straumann, where as Senior Vice President, the business became the second largest dental implant company in the US. Early in Scott’s career, notable achievements were made in various sales management roles at Procter & Gamble. Scott Root holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Investments, and Communications from Babson College.
