Ted Chen has over 20 years of work experience in corporate law, business development, and business affairs. In 1996, they began their career as a Corporate Associate at Wilson Sonsini. In 1997, they moved to Altera Corporation as Corporate Counsel. In 1999, they were hired as Senior Director of Business Development at Netcentives. In 2001, they joined AOL as Director of Business Affairs/Development. From 2002 to 2010, they worked at Yahoo! as Senior Director of Business Development. In 2013, they co-founded LifeSaver Mobile, a company that helps prevent employee phone use while driving.

Ted Chen received their B.S. from The Wharton School and their J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School.
