Kaily Sims, MA, LLPC, CAADC, is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in therapy and client advocacy. Currently serving as Lead Therapist and Co-Occurring Therapist at LifeWays since September 2021, Kaily has previously worked as a Co-Occurring Substance Abuse Therapist at VICTORY CLINICAL SERVICES III LLC from August 2017 to September 2021 and as a Graduate Intern at Lincoln Behavioral Services in 2016. Kaily's background also includes leadership roles at Siena Heights University, where responsibilities encompassed supervising Resident Assistants and supporting student development. Earlier experience as a Client Advocate at the Catherine Cobb Domestic Violence Shelter highlights a commitment to providing emotional support to individuals in crisis. Kaily holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from Siena Heights University.

LifeWays is a public mental health agency serving people in Jackson and Hillsdale counties. We treat adults and children with emotional/behavioral challenges, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and substance use issues. As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), LifeWays provides a comprehensive set of services used to increase access to care, support people in crisis, and provide treatment for those with the most serious and complex behavioral health needs regardless of their insurance coverage. CCBHCs integrate additional services that focus on recovery, wellness, trauma-informed care, and physical-behavioral health care integration. Treatment, services, and supports may include screening and assessment, crisis intervention, withdrawal management, crisis care, case management, therapy, skill building/vocational support, peer mentoring, veterans support, healthcare integration, wellness coaching, and prevention/outreach.
