Simas Sobutas has extensive experience in the field of laser applications, particularly in femtosecond laser technology, holding various positions at Light Conversion since August 2012, including Head of Medical Devices and Applications Development and R&D Engineer. Sobutas has contributed to advancements in laser surgery and high harmonics generation throughout different roles, from Laser Technician to Laser Engineer. Prior experience includes working as a Technician at UAB "Žlugtas," focusing on laser system operation and optimization. Academically, Sobutas earned a PhD in Laser-Tissue Interaction, a Master's in Laser Physics and Optical Technologies, and a Bachelor's in Modern Technologies Physics and Management, all from Vilnius University.
