Daniel Wang has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2018, they worked as a Laboratory Assistant at the McGovern Institute for Brain Research at MIT, where they conducted research on the relationship between the gene Chd2 and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Daniel performed tasks such as PCR, gel electrophoresis, and cell culture. In 2019, they interned at Hillhouse Capital Management, focusing on immuno-oncology drugs, where they conducted research, created graphics for presentations, and worked as a translator. In 2021, they worked as a Hardware Engineering Intern at BrainCo Inc, developing firmware for a prototype wearable using the RTOS Zephyr and C++. Daniel mainly worked on the user interface of the wearable. Currently, they are employed at Lightelligence as an Application System Engineer, starting in 2023.
