LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired
Jessica Nagra is a Clinical Quality Practice Specialist at Stanford Children's Health | Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford since March 2023 and a Registered Nurse with Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing since December 2020. With extensive experience in neonatal care as an Assistant Nurse Manager and Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse at Kaiser Permanente, as well as NICU Registered Nurse roles, Jessica has developed strong advocacy and patient care skills in critical environments. Jessica has contributed to the care of visually impaired clients at LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired, facilitating medication management and daily living activities. Education includes a Master’s in Nursing specializing as a Clinical Nurse Leader and a Bachelor’s in Nursing, both from the University of San Francisco.

Founded in 1902, San Francisco’s LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired promotes the independence, equality and self-reliance of people who are blind or have low vision. We offer blindness skills training and relevant services such as access to employment, education, government, information, recreation, transportation and the environment. We also pursue the development of new technology, encourage innovation, and amplify the voices of blind individuals around the world.
