Michelle Horseman is a highly experienced and dedicated teacher with a background in early childhood special education and visual impairment. Michelle has worked at various educational institutions, including The Maryland School for the Blind and Anne Arundel County Public Schools. Michelle has also worked as a dance instructor and professional dancer at StudioDNA. Michelle holds a Certificate in Autism from Johns Hopkins University School of Education, a M.Ed. in Early Childhood Special Education from Loyola University Maryland, and a BA in Elementary Education and Visual Impairment from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.

Founded in 1902, San Francisco’s LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired promotes the independence, equality and self-reliance of people who are blind or have low vision. We offer blindness skills training and relevant services such as access to employment, education, government, information, recreation, transportation and the environment. We also pursue the development of new technology, encourage innovation, and amplify the voices of blind individuals around the world.
