Pablo ''Zafre'' Fernández is an accomplished Build & Rig Senior Artist at Lighthouse Studios, specializing in feature film projects since February 2023. With a diverse background in animation, Pablo has held various roles including Compositing Lead and Scene Planning Supervisor for Rick and Morty S7, as well as freelance work focused on visual development, storyboarding, and animation. Previous experiences include building and rigging characters at Cartoon Saloon, working as a Compositing Artist on Little Ellen at Lighthouse Studios, and leading an Ink & Paint team for the film Klaus at The SPA Studios. Pablo's education includes a Master’s Degree in Character Design from U-tad and specialized training in Toon Boom Harmony, further enhancing skills in animation and visual storytelling.

Lighthouse Studios is a 2D animation studio located in the beautiful medieval city of Kilkenny, Ireland. Creating story-driven entertainment for both adults and kids, the studio develops its own IP and works with content giants such as Apple TV+, Amazon, Netflix and Warner Bros. Its crew is made up of over 20 nationalities and has an almost equal gender split. It is one of the fastest growing animation companies in Ireland. Based in the stunning Hogwarts style building that is Kieran's College, it has the luxury of lots of space set in very green surroundings. Set up in 2017 it is owned by Mercury Filmworks in Canada and Cartoon Saloon in KK.
