Lighthouse Writers Workshop
Helen Thorpe is a faculty member at Lighthouse Writers Workshop, specializing in narrative nonfiction writing about inequality. Helen is also an accomplished author of four books. In addition, Helen serves as affiliate faculty at Regis University and has experience as a visiting professor at Princeton University and Colorado College. Helen has contributed to various publications as a freelance writer and worked as an associate editor at Texas Monthly. Prior to their writing career, Helen worked at The New Yorker and The New York Observer. Helen holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Creative Writing from Princeton University and a Master of Arts in English Literature from Columbia University.
